multiple stems and branched stems. Cinerea means grey-haired.

1.  June 11.  A blooming pair of plants with
unbranched single stems.



2.  Close-up of basal rosette of left plant in 1.




3.  Close-up of terminal cluster.




4.  Late May.  A group(?) of plants taken within
ten feet of those in 1-3 but two years later.
This may be a single plant.






5.  July 10.  Cluster of branch-stemmed plants.








6..  A single plant taken within 5 feet of
cluster in 5.  This plant has multiple stems
and the main stem is branched.  Large
photo of plant reveals presence of flowers
in axils of stem leaves.  Also note
the taproot.
