Erigeron acris L.
Erigeron acris var. kamtschaticus (DC.) Herder

The "bitter fleabane" or "bitter daisy".  Normally the ligules are light blue-magenta.  The deep
red-magenta ligules in photos 5-8 and 13-14 are uncommon.  The var. kamtchaticus designation
was based on ITIS 2012.  As of July 2014, ITIS has pulled the location information for the varieties
from their database.
